Last weekend, I had the pleasure of working with some of my favorite Event Professionals for a couple that we all adored. It was a beautiful, romantic, and sophisticated wedding held at the Bently Reserve that was simply filled with love.....from the tea ceremony that honored their parents to the heartfelt ceremony performed by Diana Morgan to the way Helen and Hwa looked at each other all day. It was a real honor for me to be a part of their wedding, and the entire team of Event Professionals worked tirelessly the whole day to make it the perfect day that it was for Helen and Hwa. I've been dying to show some of the wonderful photos from The Wedding University that took place earlier this year, but because many of the beautiful designs were being submitted to various blogs and publications, I was asked to hold off on posting photos here.
Two years ago, I co-founded The Wedding University with Jean Marks, and our goal was to teach couples the ins and outs of planning a wedding. We wanted to steer away from the conventional wedding fairs, were couples get bombarded with sales pitches and take-away bags filled with business cards and marketing brochures. Instead, we wanted to create a warm, intimate, and elegant environment for couples to be pampered and be treated to good food, champagne, and eye candy, while learning valuable information from top experts in the Bay Area to help them make wise decisions for their wedding planning. We have been told by attendees that The Wedding University did just that!
