When I first begun scouting wedding venues for Julie and Nathan six months ago, I knew I had to focus on recognizable landmarks in San Francisco to help them express their shared passion for this beautiful city. It didn't take long before I found the perfect venue for them--the Ferry Building, located right along the water by the Bay Bridge! They loved the semi-industrial feeling of the space as they wanted a rustic, yet elegant, type of wedding.
Planning a wedding weekend for 300 in six months was intense; yet working with such an easy going, fun-loving couple made the journey much more enjoyable for everyone involved. One of Julie's trusted bridesmaid, Emily, was also a big part of the wedding planning and we had a great time bouncing ideas off one another....sometimes very late into the night! From their family-style dinner menu to their 'get-away' tandem bike, we incorporated a lot of very special, personalized details into the wedding. I will blog about all the details (and the entire team of Event Professionals who made it happen!) when I get the photos from their fabulous photographers Gertrude and Mabel, but for now, I wanted to share a sneak preview of just a few great shots!
