We ended our 2012 season with an extraordinary wedding at Beaulieu Garden in the wine country! After working harmoniously with Libbie, Jesse, and Libbie's parents for 14 months, I just about wanted them to adopt me into their family. They were such a fun bunch to work with, and the most genuine, down to earth people.
This was a destination wedding weekend, where all 135 of their guests flew in from various parts of the world to join the festivities that were thoughtfully planned and crafted for their enjoyment. Beginning on Thursday, we had the wedding rehearsal mid-afternoon at Beaulieu Garden, followed by an intimate rehearsal dinner at Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen for the families and bridal party. On Friday morning, the men had the option to golf together at Eagle Vines Golf Club while the ladies relaxed with a private yoga class at the Villagio Inn and Spa. That evening, Libbie and Jesse hosted a cocktail party for all of their guests at the Villagio, where they officially welcomed their guests with appetizers, wine, and lots of laughs. Saturday was the wedding day, with an after-party held at Pancho's. We arranged for a taco truck to be there the first hour, and guests had a great time munching over tacos and burritos in between drinks. On Sunday, guests were treated to a farewell brunch at the Groezinger Estate, ending the memorable weekend for everyone as Libbie and Jesse were whisked off to Mexico for their honeymoon.
I just received the gorgeous photos from their photographer, Gary Ashley! Because this wedding is currently being considered for publication, I can't share too many of the detail shots yet, but I love how Gary captured the spirit of the people below.....there was so much love that day!
Libbie was so relaxed and calm that day, often found laughing with her bridesmaids with mom as she got ready |
