Yosemite in San Francisco

I bet that not many people know about the Log Cabin in the Presidio. It is tucked away like a hidden gem, and my clients Miranda and Joe couldn't have been happier at this discovery! Always wanting a woodsy, rustic wedding at Yosemite, they did not want all of their guests driving the distance. Thus, we started the adventure of finding a Yosemite in San Francisco! When this cute couple laid eyes on the Log Cabin, it was love at first "site"! Surrounded by natural beauty and a sneak view of the bay, the Log Cabin is indeed a log cabin! Throughout the year of planning, we came up with the neatest ideas to transform the space into a warm, cozy cabin with touches of simple elegance. One of my favorite highlights of the day was the surprise that we gave the guests by bringing in lion dancers! What a way to get the party started! I am sharing a few of the fabulous detail shots that Wendy Maclaurin Richardson took for me (www.wmrphoto.com). The photo of myself with Miranda and Joe was taken by their photographer Lawrence Lauterborn (www.lauterbornphoto.com)! The rest of the exceptional team included Laurel Ann Winzler (www.flaurel.com) for the flowers, Enhanced Lighting (www.enhancedlighting.com), Carl Mindling (www.reachcarl.com) for the music and La Bocca Fina (www.laboccafina.com) for the catering.
