Located just blocks away from Union Square, the St. Regis has an urban, boutique style that sets it apart from other hotels. Unlike traditional hotel ballrooms
Being Chinese, it was important to both sides of the family to have a tea ceremony to honor the elderlies. We coordinated this in their suite at the hotel, and after Christine and Eric served tea to each couple, they were presented with gifts, red envelopes, and words of wisdom from their families.
Their traditional western wedding ceremony was held inside one of the ballrooms at the hotel. Though it was mid-afternoon, we were able to create an intimate ambiance by pulling down all the black out shades and lighting the room with ambient lighting and lots of candles, amongst beautiful flowers by the talented Nicole Ha. Christine and Eric's "baby", an adorable Yorkie named Brownie, also walked down the aisle!
Dinner reception was in the grand ballroom, where guests enjoyed a fine dining experience catered by the St. Regis' excellent culinary team, followed by a fun night of dancing and sweets from the famous B Patisserie in San Francisco.
