Wedding at Vintage Estates in Napa Valley

Last Fall, we had the pleasure of working with Stephanie and Andrew on their wedding at the grand Vintage Estates in Napa Valley.  This wedding held a special place in our heart as this is the third time the Chang family have entrusted us to plan their big day.  In 2008, Andrew's older sister, Emily wed Danny, and walked down the aisle to a picturesque coastal ceremony at the Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay. On New Year's Day 2010, also known as 01/01/10, Andrew's second sister, Michelle and Joe were married at the St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco in a modern affair.

Stephanie and Andrew's wedding was equally as special, and filled with many personal touches that left guests really appreciating the love that they have for their friends and family, and for each other.

The day began with love and laughter.  Stephanie got ready with her mom, sister/MOH and bridesmaids by her side.  Andrew spent the morning with his gentlemen enjoying the gorgeous sunny day, and their first look was captured beautifully under a sun kissed walkway on the Vintage Estates property.

The Grand Pavilion Lawn set the scene for the wedding ceremony.  The weather was perfect for this intimate ceremony that focused around the importance and union of two families.  Andrew's brother in law Danny (and our former groom!) served as officiant, the siblings from both sides collectively recited a meaningful reading, and Stephanie's cousin sang a beautiful piece while the couple honored their parents with tea.  Everyone gathered afterward for a fun group photo!

Stephanie and Andrew love to cook, so guests were treated to a bite of their culinary skills with homemade cake pop escort cards and spicy bacon caramel popcorn as party favors.  Other detailed touches celebrated the cities close to their heart, and of course, their love of everything sports!

Guests enjoyed dinner al fresco style under the clear sky, and moved into the Historic Barrel Room for dancing and post-dinner treats which included authentic San Francisco munchies, a gourmet ice cream cart and a fun churros cart.  It was a great way to keep the energy level high to dance into the night!

Simply stated, Stephanie and Andrew's wedding was focused around the moments that make their love special.  It was about more than just a beautiful dress and pretty flowers; their wedding was an extended celebration of their love for having fun, with the ones they love most surrounding them.  What a great way to start this new chapter in their lives!

We have to admit, we are a bit bummed that Andrew marks the last of the Chang children to be married, but it brings us such joy and honor to be apart of each of these celebrations, and we are extremely excited to continue our friendship with the Chang family.  Here's a cute photo of their growing family!
